This is the pattern directly from Zweihammer's CAD files, there have been some layout modifications to adapt to my cutting equipment (plasma instead of water-jet or laser depending on where he was outsourcing to).
Rivets, washers and instructions are included.
18ga Mild Steel
With regard to gauntlet size, I have hands that measure 8 inches from the heel of my palm to the tip of my index finger, 3 3/4 inches across the knuckles and 4 3/4 inches across the heel of my palm. Typically, I always wear large gloves. I fight in the larger size with Wells Lamont gloves attached and 3/8 gamboised padding on the back. I fit the larger size fine with a little to spare.
The small size is 7/8ths the size of the large and I cannot pass my hand through the cuff with a glove attached and though it fits my bare hand it leaves no room for glove or padding. This size fits my wife fine and also seems to fit the average sized fighter who wears medium gloves.
The kit can be formed somewhat narrower/deeper or wider/shallower to compensate a bit. Padding and glove thickness helps as well.
I have created another size that is in the middle of these two, because that is where my hands seem to fit.
